€¢ Design hydraulic cylinders and other machined components, using first principles of Physics, mechanics, applied engineering and design data to ensure quality and manufacturability requirements.
€¢ Develop & Draft Part Drawings and Assembly drawings for various products and parts
€¢ Identify and recommend improvements to designs then take appropriate action to implement.
€¢ Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Product Management, and Production to meet company goals for quality, customer service, safety, and cost.
€¢ Provide Production, Purchasing, Production Engineering, and Planning with information and specifications required to purchase/ produce products.
€¢ Guide Draftsman, Junior design engineers
Education Required:
BE/BTech/AMIE Mechanical Engineering degree with 3-5 Years experience in Machine Design. Applicants with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7-9 years€™ experience in design will also be considered.
Experience Required:
Design of Machines, Valves, Pumps on AutoCAD and or 3D software like Pro E, Creo
Skills and Attributes Required:
€¢ Outstanding problem-solving skills.
€¢ Proven ability to quickly understand customer requirements, formulate, evaluate and execute the most effective solution.
€¢ Basic knowledge of fabrication/surface finishing/ manufacturing processes.
€¢ Proficient with solid modeling applications, ideally SolidWorks/ Creo and drafting in CAD
€¢ Knowledge of geometric and dimensioning tolerancing.
